Purpose, Vision and Faith
Our Purpose and Vision Our purpose and vision is to walk as true Christians showing the love of God and to reach out to lost and hurting souls and to those walking in a Christ like manner. To be the godly example of unity in the church and the world. To teach, preach and live the gospel of Jesus Christ to and in front of all men no matter their age, ethnicity or gender. To see spiritual and natural growth in all in everyone we come in contact with so that they can disciple others to come to know Jesus Christ and depend on Him and not man. Our Faith Our faith is what we believe in and that is the infallible word of God spoken and inspired to be written in the Bible. The scriptures supporting our faith are Romans 10:8-10, Ephesians 2:4-10, Mark 16:15-20 and Acts 2:37-39. We believe that salvation comes through Jesus Christ through redemption of the blood shed on Calvary by Jesus Christ. Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works. We believe in water baptism as a sign of washing away the old life and rising into a new life through Jesus Christ. We believe the evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as the evidence by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and public testimony in Acts 2:40. We believe God is the Father, Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity. |
